Their self debut album "YOURSELF OR SOMEONE LIKE YOU" has reached diamond status. The single "PUSH" captivated audiences and put Matchbox Twenty in one of the best new selling artists of 1997-1998. The album is a combination of classic rock sounds with a modern pop flavor. The sincere lyrics about relationships falling apart and the powerful vocals of singer-songwriter Rob Thomas has made "Yourself or someone like you" a success. In May 23th, the most anticipated sophomore album "MAD SEASON" was released as well as the first single "BENT" that has become one of the most popular songs on the radio across the country. Bent took the No.1 spot in the second week of July. Their second single "If you're gonne" is also a success and have reached No.1 in the VH1 countdown.
